Customer complaint management is a vital component of organizations both in the private and public sector.  It can be viewed as feedback or information relating to your products and services.  Therefore this information should be properly managed.  The goal of customer complaint management is to effectively provide feedback to the client with a view to increasing customer satisfaction.

Satisfaction occurs when the members of the organization understand customer expectations and them work with them to improve service levels. The challenge arises when there are multiple departments interacting with customers and they each have their own agendas.  This is where organizational wide complaint management software is essential.

Complaints management software helps the organization in the following ways.  Complaint management gives the organization an opportunity to redeem itself in the eyes of the customer.  In other words it gives them a second chance to make things right.  It also helps to identify where improvements are needed and allows customers to play an important part in these improvements.  This is the philosophy behind continuous improvement.  Finally it helps to lighten the workload within the organization.

The key to customer complaint management is to truly listen.  Listen because the customers who complain are usually just the tip of the iceberg of customers who are dissatisfied.  It is important to gain an understanding of the complaints and make the changes to resolve them.

I am always on the lookout for ways to improve the Internet marketing of my site.  There is a whole lot of information out there and I find it is difficult to keep track of it all.

I have found a site that offers SEM tips that includes tips and articles relating to search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), along with a host of other information relating to marketing your business online.

One advantage of using a site like this one offering search engine marketing tips is that the information is organized and it is easy to find topic that you are researching.  I have had a lot of success with this site and applying it to my own site.

It is designed to capture and manage relationships. But CRM goes beyond the technology aspect by being a business strategy which enables you to increase your competitive position and profitability.

Online CRM goes across multiple business functions as most business departments are directly or indirectly involved with customers.  This information is stored in a central database.  CRM’s usually include customer account and contact information, sales force automation, campaign and event management, internal communications as well as calendars and forecasting tools.

Exporting Email Address Books

Have you ever set up a new email address and had to transfer your address book?  I did this recently - and what a pain that was.  After I had tried it on my own for a while I discovered an easy way to export address books.  They actually sell software which transfers address books to and from different platforms.

I was looking to convert to Microsoft Outlook.  I was told to go to ConnectedSW.com for my needs.  They also work with Blackberry pop3, enable you to export AOL favorites and convert for Eudora to Outlook amongst many others.

Once I got my hands on their software it was plain sailing after that.  In the future if I change email I will know where to go for help!
