Palm Springs, California is one of the beautiful and famous, though also quiet and peaceful communities in the southern portion of the state. It also happens to be one of the popular tourist destinations and attracts people from all over the world. The city has a large number of galleries and museums and there are numerous cultural attractions and entertainment options. In addition, the geography that surrounds Palm Springs is extremely enticing for hikers, climbers and off road recreational drivers. And while a Palm Springs best hotel is the perfect place for a quiet getaway, there is just too much to do and see in this city to stay in your hotel room for long.
One of the great things about vacationing in Palm Springs is that it is extremely family friendly. There are plenty of attractions that are suited for and intended specifically for the maximum fun of children. Boomer’s Park and the Children’s Discovery Museum are great places to take the kids while young adults, as well as adults of all ages and levels of maturity, will enjoy an afternoon horse ride and a walk through the Living Desert. And Joshua Tree National Park is just outside of the city and easily accessible for a day trip.
Boomers Park provides acres of fun and activities for people of all ages. There is a great miniature golf course and the bumper boats are extremely popular. There is a climbing wall for those interested in giving it a try and the game room in Boomer’s will keep the entire family entertained for hours. The Children’s Discovery Museum is a great way to inspire the imagination and creativity young people and also to introduce them to the wonders of the desert. Many of the exhibits are interactive and the rope maze and gravity ball fall are particularly popular. There is even a wall for young people to learn the sport of rock climbing.
With so much to do in Palm Springs, it is difficult to imagine going there to relax, though many people do.
