Rims and Fresh Paint Increase Car’s Value

Friday, May 30th, 2008

Increasing the value of your car is not as difficult as one would think. That is because getting cheap rims for you car can really increase what it is worth. I decided on custom rims for mine. I think I’ll look great pulling into the car show, looking like I spent a fortune on my car.

And if you don’t have a car, but a truck or SUV, you can just as easily increase its value with truck wheels or SUV wheel. If you have already done this, getting a frest paint job can increase the value a lot more than it costs. Just be sure to choose a color that most people like. A bright color that no one seems to like will decrease the value.

There are many who try to enjoy their career but feel as if something is missing. Even though it pays well or is close to home, it still seems to lack in one area or another. Eventually, the dread of having to face the job on a daily basis will begin to creep in. Next Day Blinds Helps Me Go Green

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

I am going green with everything that I do. I have been carpooling to work and trying to drive as little as possible. I put this sort of screen thing on the windows to my house to help keep the sun out, which will lower my energy costs. I saw a Next Day Blinds advertising thing that talked about how blinds help keep the cool air inside in the summer and the warm air inside in the winter. Next Day Blinds must have insulated window blinds to help even more.

I am also recycling paper, plastic and glass. I have a couple of receptacles to put this waste in and I just put it out at the curb on trash day. And since I started to do this, my actual trash amount is considerable smaller.

One additional thing that I am doing is to bring reusable bags to the grocery store with me. I keep a couple of these in my car in case I need to stop there after work. These bags cost me about $1.50 each and I use them all of the time. I actually like them better than paper or plastic bags because they have straps that don’t hurt my shoulder and they hold a lot more than the ones from the store—which mean fewer trips from the car to the house.

All of the efforts will pay off for me, you and the entire planet. I am making all of the changes that I can and taking care of small details. They will add up and have a big impact on the world and global warming.

Geography Bluff Learns About Everglades with Map of Florida

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

I am a geography buff. It’s one of my all-time favorite things to learn about and you can really learn just about anywhere. I always try to learn whenever I go anywhere. Last summer I spend a lot of time in India and with my maps of India I was able to learn about their snow-capped mountain ranges to their deserts and everything in between.

I also used my map of Mexico to learn all about Mexico’s mountains and canyons to their deserts. That is a great place to get some culture. I love Mexican music and I think that their enchiladas that you can get in that country are top notch.

But there is one other place that I use my maps to learn about geography and that is Florida. My Florida map has taken me to its beaches and to the Everglades. Not to mention that I got to go to Disney World when I was learning all of this.

Long Term Drug Addiction Recovery Program Best Option

Friday, May 9th, 2008

I have recently learned about how devastating methamphetamine is. I knew it was bad before, but it was not until I saw a documentary called "Crystal Darkness" that I finally understood the degree it affects a user.

Drug abuse treatment in a drug rehab can offer the addict a chance at a sober life. Relapse does occur but with long term drug addiction recovery program, the user will most likely end up in jail or dead.

I read that the chemical that is effected by meth the most is dopamine. When a person eats or does something pleasurable like that, the dopamine in them jumps from 100 units to 200. When a person does cocaine, it jumps to 350 units. And when a person does meth, it jumps to 1250 units. And often the wiring of their brains is changed and they stop producing a normal amount of this chemical which leads to a severe depression after the high.
