Exporting Email Address Books

Monday, February 25th, 2008

Have you ever set up a new email address and had to transfer your address book?  I did this recently - and what a pain that was.  After I had tried it on my own for a while I discovered an easy way to export address books.  They actually sell software which transfers address books to and from different platforms.

I was looking to convert to Microsoft Outlook.  I was told to go to ConnectedSW.com for my needs.  They also work with Blackberry pop3, enable you to export AOL favorites and convert for Eudora to Outlook amongst many others.

Once I got my hands on their software it was plain sailing after that.  In the future if I change email I will know where to go for help!

Travel Plans for 2008

“I met a traveler from an antique land…..” That poem has stuck with me since my childhood!  As I stare at my globe I wonder where my travels will take me in the during the next year?  I already have my map of Australia looked out for my summer trip.

So what other trips?  I am heading up to Canada for a wedding soon.  That will be a fun trip as I have never been there.  I was looking over my map of Canada and notice that Edmonton is pretty isolated.  Hopefully it wont be too cold when I’m there.  Speaking of cold…well I hope it will be cold in Colorado in the fall when I go for my annual skiing trip.  I know the region pretty well but on review of my map of Colorado I have spotted some new loacals I want to check out!

During next holiday season I hope to be back in England for Christmas.  Last year I left my well traveled map on a bus.  I was planning to visit some relatives in the north of the country and they live in a pretty remote area of Yorkshire.  Hopefully I will get a new map of England in time.
